F.A.Q. - Ordering, Shipping, & Payment Policies and Procedures

Happy Hovel Storable Foods is Northwest Washington's Premier Full-Service Long Term Storage Company. To allow our customers the benefit of our knowledge and ongoing expertise, we encourage you to email us, fax us or call us with your questions - we are here to serve you!

We do not use blanket shipping costs: All UPS and Freight shipping quotes are based on each individual order taking into consideration product packaging and total weight as well as the destination address.

When ordering: Please provide us with your complete shipping address, telephone number and email address along with your order. We send out for bids on shipping to save you the most money and require all the information in order to get cost effective bids.

For ordering smaller single items using PayPal: Some products have PayPal buttons next to them; these include USPS shipping costs in the price posted. Some have both a button for U.S. customers and a button for International customers - they are clearly marked. You may click on the appropriate button to use the PayPal shopping cart to order these products; if you do not wish to use the PayPal shopping cart you may contact us with your order.

For ordering all products: You may email your order to info@happyhovelfoods.com; fax your order to
1-360-400-0907; or call your order in at 1-360-400-0902 10AM-4PM PST.

All orders are prepay: We prefer money orders or cashier checks but also accept checks, PayPal and MasterCard/Visa. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use our PayPal service; we will send you an invoice with instructions. All monies are held on account until your order is shipped. There are no refunds. If there are monies left due to shortages on a shipment these monies will be held as a credit on account toward future orders or satisfying those backorders.

All prices are subject to change: We cannot guarantee prices for products or shipping until the order is confirmed and paid in full.

Our lead time for shipping is 1-2 weeks: Lead times can change depending on supply and demand. When your order ships we will notify you via email. If shipped via UPS or Freight we will provide you with tracking information; USPS orders do not have tracking information unless you specifically request it.

International orders: International shipments cannot be guaranteed due to the potential risk of Customs interference when shipments cross international borders. Customer is responsible for all customs fees, duties and taxes - they are not included in the shipping quote.
